How do we collect your data? Directly from you, in person or when you make enquiries via the phone, email or online.

What do we collect? Contact and communications information and records of communications and interactions we have had with you inclusive of past and current medical information and treatment from past and current visits to ourselves or other therapists.

How we use the data Personal data provided will be used for the purposes set out at the time of collection, and in accordance to any preferences you express. Generally we use your data for:

1.       Legal compliance; to maintain accurate and timely records.

2.       Administration of the company

3.       Diary management and booking appointments.

4.       Storage for the company’s financial record. No financial data is stored.

How do we store and manage personal data? Your personal records are kept together and are stored in paper in a locked cabinet within a locked building for 8 years, then destroyed securely, unless requested by you to destroy sooner. None of your information is available online and, where you have emailed information to us, electronic copies are stored on a secure drive.

Who has access to your personal data? The company’s staff are the only person(s) that have access to this information and are trained within the GDPR guidelines.

Your marketing preferences Currently we do not use personal data for marketing purposes, we are visible through any contact you make through websites, email and social media.

Your rights: Under certain circumstances, you have the right to:

1.       Request access to your personal medical records, these requests should be made in writing and address to the owner, the timeframe for response is 25 days.

2.       Request access to your non-medical data and receive a copy of this and how we are processing.

3.       Request a correction of personal data that we hold.

4.       Request erasure of your personal data, this is where there is no longer a good reason for us to hold it.

5.       To object to processing personal data, this is where data may be sent to third parties. We would inform you prior to doing this, and currently do not use any third party members.

6.       Request the transfer of your personal data to another party.
